  5. Small Black (Carbon or Mars) Acrylic Paint

  6. One medium flat paint brush, size 8, give or take.

  7. Generals Brush Cleaner

  8. A set of Colored Pencils or Markers.  If you bring pencils, bring a sharpener.

  9. A sketch pad 9x12" or 11x14", partially used ok.  You'll need at least 15 sheets for Sunday's composition exercises.

  10. Canson XL Oil/Acrylic canvas pad, 24 sheet, 9x12" or 11x14".  Other brands are fine, too.  I just like this one.

  11. 1 pad pallet paper or glass pallet (a piece of glass with the edges taped up).  11x14" You can get glass cut in custom framing stores like University Art. If you get a glass pallet instead of a displosable pallet pad, also bring a paint scraper - sold at hardware stores.

  12. Container for water.

  13. Paint rag

  14. An outfit you can get paint on or apron.

  15. Drinking water bottle, snacks, lunch on Saturday or money to take yourself out to lunch at one of the restaurants in walking distance.

  16. An open mind and a good attitude.
