Uncovered, Acrylic and Mixed Media on Canvas, 11x14"
Uncovered is inspired by a place called Cowboy Camp in Colusa County, CA. I took a hike there in March when the grasses were green, and there were spring wildflowers along the trail. The piece has many pieces of ephemera, including:
- A diagram of the "Structure of Seeds"
- Dried flowers
- A piece of film
- A vintage stamp
- A picture slide of a sailor.
- A page of a vintage address book
- A butterfly 
- Math calculations
- Maps
- In the sky, there's a diagram of scalene triangles, resembling the angles of the slope of the hills.
These items create a story in my mind that may be different than the story in yours. I don't start with an idea for a narrative. It comes together after the piece is finished. I imagine it to be about someone who studied the topography and plant life in the area and is friends or in love with the sailor in the slide. What do you think of when you see this collection?

This acrylic painting is on canvas and stretched on stretcher bars. The sides are painted grey. You can frame it if you like, or you can hang it as is.

  • Shipping is available within 3-10 business days. 

    Local Pickup is available upon request in midtown Sacramento.  Email JenniferLKeller@yahoo.com to discuss pickup. 

  • Cancellations

    Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason.  Please notify me right away if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that there will be any shipping charges.

    Once shipping or pickup has been initiated, the cancellation will be considered a return.

    Returns

    Buyers will be responsible for packaging and shipping the return within 10 business days after the package is received.  Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.

    Buyers may not be reimbursed for returns that are not received in original condition.

    Local Pickup & Local Delivery

    All sales final once the buyer takes possession of the item.

    If you decide to cancel the order at pick up a refund will be issued.  Do not take the item with you.
